On this page you’ll find information to help you enter the main page of the course site and get ready to begin your class. Frequently Asked Questions addresses more specific questions related to content delivery in your online classroom.
Entering The Course Site. When you register for a class, you’ll receive via email a link to the course site and information that lets you enter the course site including:
- a username
- a password (which you should change once you’re logged in)
Change Password. For site security, please change your password from the password issued to you one of your very own. To change, log in to the course site then click this link (or go to Settings > MyProfileSettings > ChangePassword). Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page, and record your password where you can find it. While you’re at it, you can change your forum subscription preferences and other information at Settings > MyProfileSettings > EditProfile. Click the Update Profile button at the bottom of the page to save changes.
When you’re logged into the course site, on the Front Page you’ll see a link for any class you’re enrolled in. Click the Front Page link to your classroom. You’ll see class material in the main panel of the window. Before you begin the class material, please review Frequently Asked Questions.
